Date Availability: May - October. Advance booking required, to confirm availability of guides on the specific dates you are requesting.
Trip Meeting Location: Various locations in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. Exact location will be confirmed, once we confirm the best meeting location based on where you are staying, and payment is received.
Arrival - Arrive at pre-arranged destination
Park vehicles. Orientation to where you are geographically, geologically, and agriculturally.
Meet your guides. Bathroom break, if needed.
Introductions, fresh apple cider on arrival.

This outing involves two delightful local experts to take you into their story of living in Paradise, and introducing you to the geography, ecology, and the care and love that they have for this place. Through this walking adventure, you and your friends and group members will be provided with:
Insights about the local geography, geography and geology, touching, tasting, and using your senses to discover this place, and remember it.
Guided walk into the Annapolis River area discovering several unique stories about orchards, local settlers, land uses, and the unique stories that your guides are familiar with. Interacting in some unique ways with elements of these stories along the way.
This is a “slow travel” walk, discovering both natural history and local geography and the back stories of the Annapolis Valley.
…treat it as a conversation to acquaint you with the local landscape, but also to learn about some stories and local happenings that are uniquely offered by our guides, who are a geographer and an ecologist, both of whom are writers, presenters, and storytellers in their own rights.
