Here is a sample itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrive in Halifax. Stay overnight
Day 2 - Travel to the seaside adjunct to Kejimkujik National Park where you will experience a point of land that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean. In the company of a Mi’Kmaq indigenous guide, we learn about this part of the area. (Walking, foraging, storytelling, photography)
Day 3 - Lighthouse discoveries and Acadian culture along Nova Scotia’s south shore - walking, seafood dining, photography, coastal ecology.
Day 4 and 5 - Bay of Fundy marine ecology, geology, and seafood. Walking, photography, fresh scallops, art, and storytelling.
Day 6 and 7 - Gaspereau Valley, farmer’s markets, walking, wineries and cooking classes. Creating a journal or book to take home. Encounter with a songwriter. Fine dining.
Day 8 - Return to Halifax or depart Nova Scotia
