Day Adventures

Manitoba day adventures are guided nature experiences in Riding Mountain National Park or within the Riding Mountain Biosphere Reserve. Day trips are available separately as half-day outings, or can be combined into a full-day or multi-day custom itinerary.

Day adventures include:

  1. Learning Adventures - are outdoor adventures in four seasons involving a combination of driving, walking, snowshoeing, photography, bicycling or other outdoor activities in the national park and in our local communities.  Guided adventures are designed to maximize learning by trying new things, discovering out of the way places, or going to little known locations. You become more than a visitor - you are our guests.

  2. Arts and Culture Experiences - involve encounters with local artists, artisans, musicians, storytellers, or others who have expertise and passion in the arts or cultural experiences.  You'll have an opportunity to try something new, expand your repertoire, or just learn.  You take away new insights and skills.

  3. Custom Day Trip Adventures - have been requested by many of our guests who wish to have their own group adventure for a portion of a day.  We have become specialists at creating and delivering customized day trip adventures combining activities and locations specifically designed to meet your needs.  Together with you, we invent ways for you to adventure and learn in ways that inspire and delight.

  4. Manitoba Cuisine Experiences - provide you with opportunities to learn about local cuisine traditions (bread baked in wood-fired ovens), taste local produce (herbs and heirloom tomatoes), take away local honey or other locally grown foods.  You can take part in the distinctive Earth Rhythms Outdoor Café with local chefs.  These programs are for small groups; minimum numbers apply.
